Reports are still an important part of software delivery. Not only do they keep projects on track with scope, budget, timelines, and delivery, they can also be critical artifacts for supporting compliance, sign-off, audit trail, and regulatory processes. Just about every company has its own requirements for report data and design – and iRise has you covered!
We’ve expanded our selection of out of the box to include Epics and Related Stories, Functional Specs, UI Specs, Comments (feedback) reports and more! These reports (including their headers and footers) can be leveraged as-is or completely customized using CSS and HTML to perfectly match your team’s report design standards and data requirements. Everything in your iRise project – from prototype details like widget size/placement, font styles, and text copy to requirements and user story details like description, status and priority, plus all of the feedback provide on the project – is now accessible for generating custom reports.
Direct links to the reports can easily be shared with stakeholders or your project team for online review. They can also be exported to Microsoft Word or printed for offline review. See examples below…
Functional Spec (BRD) Report
The Functional Spec generates screenshots for all screens, masters, templates, and custom widgets in the iRise project. For each screenshot, all related requirements and a subset of their related attributes (Status, Priority, and Cost) will be displayed in a table below the screenshot.
This report is useful in reviewing the screens and related functional specifications across the entire project.
The report can be generated in three different sizes. 468px is optimized for Word export, 900px is optimized for online review, and the Full Size report is optimized for saving assets to share with downstream teams.
UI Spec Report
This report includes screenshots for all screens in the iRise project along with styling details for all widgets on the screen.
This may be useful for your development team – when they actually start development work based on your work in iRise. The report can be generated with any subset of widget type – for example, just Text widgets for a full text copy review of the project.
Screens and Comments
This report includes screenshots for all screens in the iRise project along with all feedback (comments) related to the screen.
This report is useful for reviewing the full history of feedback and to review how, why, and when the screen evolved based on conversation for the screen.
