The iRise Developer Network is an online community designed to promote and encourage iRise customers, partners and independent developers to extend the iRise visualization platform by leveraging the iRise iBloc™ and iConnect™ APIs.
The iRise iBloc API enables the quick creation of iRise iBlocs (custom widgets, events and actions from thousands of pre-built components freely available on the Internet), making the assembly of complex visualizations at least ten times faster and easier.
The iRise iConnect API supports integrations and extensions to the iRise platform. With it, developers can create custom reporting tools, integrations to testing tools, extensions to the iRise platform and other new products that use and/or modify iRise data.
The iDN provides comprehensive information and peer-based collaboration that will drive the rapid development of new iBlocs and iConnect extensions for either internal customer use or contribution to the iRise user community. Dozens of iBlocs are already available.
The iDN is a community for partners, customers and developers to learn about, collaborate and influence iRise APIs and solutions produced with these APIs.
Learn - The iDN includes a large number of learning tools and developer resources including how-to videos, documentation, news and updates, best practices, and troubleshooting and testing tools. iRise customers, partners and independent developers use these tools to keep up with the latest news and information about upcoming iBlocs and APIs.
Collaborate - The iDN enables third parties to ask questions, provide feedback and share ideas to the community and to the iRise Product Definition team through the community's discussion board. Members of the community also gain early access to new software and capabilities through the iRise Beta program and contribute their opinions through online surveys.
Influence - By connecting with developers, customers, partners and the iRise team, the iDN community will have direct and immediate influence on the direction of the APIs and how they can be used to maximize the benefit of iRise and offer best practices to build visualizations faster and easier.
The iDN is free to join; sign up at iDN Signup.
