While iRise eLearning and instructor-led courses provide stakeholders and users with the right content and foundation, iRise Mentoring extends this training with contextual assistance on specific projects. Specifically, iRise Mentoring provides on-the-job training and knowledge transfer with iRise Certified Experts, all of whom have a proven track record of enabling iRise customers to accelerate internal skills development and streamline iRise adoption, with particular focus on the following:
- Integrating iRise into specific projects
- Best practices for project selection
- Best practices for iRise use
- Developing project accelerators
iRise users will receive assistance in learning how to visualize requirements and designs for custom applications, packaged applications (e.g., SAP, Oracle Financials, etc.) and mobile applications. iRise experts will lead new iRise users through a core set of visualization topics while working on real-world projects or specially designed learning projects. The goal of iRise Mentoring is to ensure that new iRise users improve their ability to elicit requirements using the iRise platform while using a consistent set of best practices.
How Mentoring Works
An iRise expert will provide a one-on-one in-depth coaching on the most common visualization techniques needed to produce effective simulations. Next, we will explore our vast library of simulation assets and be instructed on their use. Finally, we will put these visualization techniques to use on a current project or a mock simulation project. There are five distinct mock simulation projects that were created to mirror a real simulation project which includes; requirements gathering, simulation planning, building data-aware interfaces and techniques for a creating a highly polished look. At the conclusion of the mentoring session the iRise user will be able to quickly gather and validate requirements using the iRise suite of products.
