iRise Updates Training and Certification Programs and Offers FREE Certifications at Fusion User Conference

On the heels of the Dice.com report that listed iRise as one of the most sought-after skills in IT, we have redesigned our training and certification programs from the ground up with the goal of making it easier for companies and individuals to develop strong iRise credentials.

Two new courses, iRise Basic Training™ and iRise Advanced Training™, take instructor-led training to a new level. As replacements for the iRise Experienced Training and iRise Expert Training, these courses offer an enhanced topic list, improved course flow, more hands-on exercises and workshops, and an improved set of participant materials to use during and after training. We’ve also eliminated the one-size-fits-all approach from our curriculum with flexible delivery options – including open enrollment classes, live virtual training, and private onsite or remote classes. For more information: Click Here

Our certification program has also been updated, and now includes two tiers – iRise Certified Modeler™ and iRise Certified Expert™ – that better reflect varying levels of iRise knowledge, skill, and experience. The iRise Certified Modeler Exam is delivered online and can be taken at any time and place. The iRise Certified Expert Exam is delivered onsite at various U.S. locations throughout the year. Private “certification days” for both exams, during which iRise will provide exam prep, proctoring and review to groups of five to ten participants, can be purchased by corporate customers. For more information, including prerequisites and exam prep materials: Click Here

Registration and pricing information for public courses and exams can be accessed at http://www.irise.com/services/registration. Companies interested in hosting group and/or private classes and exams can contact iRise Sales at info@irise.com.

iRise is offering a FREE certification day for both exams at the upcoming Fusion User Group Meeting in New York City! Please contact Nancy Kwon at nkwon@irise.com for more info.

Accelerator Product Updates Include CodeGen and CaliberRM Integration

September is going to be an exciting month for iRise accelerator product updates. On the iRise Connect side of things look out for a new integration to the Micro Focus CaliberRM requirements management platform. Similar to the other iRise Connect products, this will be a bi-directional synchronization of requirement text and links to iRise visualizations within Definition Center, also leveraging the traceability functionality within the CaliberRM platform. On the HP side we will be announcing official support for the ALM 11 version of the Quality Center product.

The CodeGen beta program is close to completion and we will be announcing the official release of CodeGen 2.0 at the end of the month. Feedback from the beta program has been directly translated into exciting new product functionality including improved layout support, template-driven code generation and improved mapping to existing style sheet assets.

Experience these products first-hand and learn how to integrate them into your software development process by signing up for the iRise Adoption Center, Code Generator, HP Quality Center Integration Best Practices workshop on Wednesday October 12 at the iRise User Conference.
