Customers share lessons learned, best practices with packed rooms

Under the theme ‘Visualize the Future’ the Chicago and San Francisco Fusion’10 iRise user meetings once again provided powerful examples of transformation. Speaking to a packed house in both locations, customers offered success stories, advice on best practices and lessons learned in adopting visualization from a people, process and technology point of view.

In Chicago, Molly Wanstall of Ameriprise Financial told the compelling story of how Ameriprise has adopted iRise at an enterprise level in just one short year. Now her team’s biggest problem is how to meet the demand for iRise resources. CIO Roundtable: Visualization Mentioned as Best Practice for Application Modernization

In a recent CIO.com article entitled "Application Modernization Can Provide CIOs with Peace of Mind", a roundtable with 25 CIOs discussed the topic of application modernization. This is a subject of growing interest among IT leaders looking to reduce complexity and become more efficient. Visualization was cited by a number of these CIOs as a best practice:

"Explore visualization tools. If car companies can build a prototype model before mass production, why can’t IT do the same for software? More companies are turning to visualization tools to make sure the time, energy and deliverables are in line before development. Some have saved millions in time and resources.
