Trinity Technology Group Speeds the Delivery of Modernized Agency Application with iRise Visualization

Online grant system for Bay Area Air Quality Management District replaces paper-based process

EL SEGUNDO, CA - August 16, 2010 - iRise®, the global leader in enterprise visualization solutions, announced today that Trinity Technology Group, a consulting firm that serves both public and private sector clients, has leveraged iRise to define a new grant application and processing system for the Bay Area Air Quality Management District (BAAQMD), a regional agency of seven counties whose goal is to reduce harmful emissions in the San Francisco bay area. The new system enables citizens to apply for and manage grant applications online and replaces a paper based system, dramatically improving citizen access and agency responsiveness.

Trinity Technology Group was hired to modernize the grant process by designing and delivering an online replacement for the paper based system. Before iRise the business analysts at Trinity would have used paper based tools to document requirements and spent the money to develop a low fidelity wireframe prototype in an attempt to clarify needs. For this project the business analysts instead used iRise during stakeholder review meetings to capture and visualize requirements for the new system. The visualizations were enhanced and then shared with stakeholders to gather additional direction and feedback. Ultimately the visualization became an exact guide for the new system, ensuring that the development team was going to deliver precisely what was needed by the BAAQMD.
