Hundreds Gather at iRise User Conference to Share Business Application Simulation Success Stories
EL SEGUNDO, Calif. – Dec. 4, 2006 – iRise®, the world's leading application definition software company, today announced that nearly two hundred business, IT and user experience professionals from blue-chip companies such as Wachovia, Capgemini, Deloitte Consulting LLP and Digital Insight gathered recently at the Third Annual iRise User Conference and Industry Summit in New York City to share best practices surrounding business application definition – one of the most critical issues facing today’s businesses. Among the main concerns identified by attendees and discussed during the two-day event were speed to market, cost reduction and outsourcing.
iRise began its "High Performance Innovation" themed conference at Le Parker Meridien with a keynote presentation by four-time America's Cup champion skipper Dennis Connor, who spoke on the topic of innovation, preparation, and the use of visual simulations that cut costs, reduced risk and improved performance of racing yachts.
"Working with iRise helps us cycle through more iterations using fewer resources to quickly and cost-effectively validate solution requirements," said David Rubini, director product usability for Digital Insight, the leading on-demand banking provider. "Understanding the user experience is important to Digital Insight because it helps us positively impact the business results of our financial institution clients. Most important, we are able to more successfully demonstrate our products and services' true capabilities."
The conference featured a line-up of customer case studies and live demonstrations of interactive business application simulations by successful iRise customers and partners including: Deloitte Consulting LLP, Capgemini and Wachovia.
Major topics addressed included:
- How to facilitate application definition using simulation as a strategic platform
- How simulation fits into rapid, iterative development methodologies
- The fastest way to simulate rich user interfaces
- Best practices for rapid adoption of simulation within an IT organization
"The power of the iRise community has never been stronger, as we witnessed at our recent user conference where more users and partners than ever before assembled to share case studies, hear from industry experts and partake in hands-on workshops," said Emmet B. Keeffe III, chief executive officer and co-founder of iRise.
