iRise Expands National Sales Presence; Founding Executive of TBI, Creator of Caliber-RM, to Head Mid Atlantic Region
iRise Extends Operations to Four New Regional Offices; Reflects Increased Interest for iRise Application Simulator
EL SEGUNDO, Calif. -- November 5, 2003 - In an effort to provide increased sales support for iRise Application Simulator, its flagship product, iRise today announced that the company is has expanded its nationwide presence with the addition of four regional offices in the Atlanta, Dallas, Chicago and Charlotte, North Carolina.
The four new offices will provide pre-sales and post-sales support for iRise Application Simulator and the new Visual Application Definition service. In September, the company unveiled iRise Application Simulator™ 3.0, an enhanced version of its pioneering Application Definition platform. iRise (www.irise.com) is dedicated to bridging the communication gap that exists between business and IT. The company is based in El Segundo, Calif. and maintains additional sales offices in San Francisco and New York.
The company's new sales executive overseeing government and Mid Atlantic accounts is Robert Loren, one of the founding executives of Technology Builders Inc., which created CaliberRM™ -- the requirements management product now owned by Borland®. A veteran senior-level software sales executive, Loren joins iRise from Embarcadero Technologies. In addition to helping establish TBI, he previously held senior sales, consulting and technical positions with KnowledgeWare in Atlanta, GE Consulting Services in Rockville, Maryland, and Hughes Aircraft Radar Systems Group in El Segundo.
"I've joined iRise to continue the quest to solve the age-old requirements problem," Loren said. "Although requirements management tools were a significant advancement over the un-automated methods available then, nothing allows end users to validate business needs better than a visual, dynamic simulation. It's like going from a two-dimensional blueprint to a virtual reality walkthrough - there's no comparison."
Targeted at the Fortune 1000, iRise Application Simulator allows for the definition, testing and approval of Web-based business software before developers write the first line of code. Users validate requirements from a visually accurate, functionally rich and interactive simulation of the application that can be modified on the fly during feedback sessions. iRise Application Simulator has been deployed at customer sites in the health care, financial services, manufacturing and construction sectors.
"iRise Application Simulator is such a compelling new alternative for Fortune 1000 companies under the gun to create effective, mission-critical Web applications that we needed to act to meet the increasing demand for our solutions and services," said Dean Terry, EVP of Sales, iRise. "Extending iRise's operations into these key markets underscores our commitment to client service as well as to business development." v
The newest version of iRise Application Simulator delivers dramatically enhanced usability features, permitting business analysts and other non-technical users to create fully interactive, data-rich simulations in roughly the same time as rudimentary click-through mockups or static screenshots.
The iRise Application Simulator platform replaces the conventional requirements management and prototyping approaches that have failed to bridge the communication gap between businesspeople and technologists. Iterative validation with the iRise Application Simulator is a more effective way to collect clear, correct and complete requirements at the beginning of a software development project.
