iRise Hosts Discussion on Best Practices in Requirements Collaboration
SunTrust Bank and Westfield Insurance Join in Web Seminar Discussion on Mastering Stakeholder Review and Approval in the Requirements Process
EL SEGUNDO, Calif. –— October 11 , 2005 — iRise®, the world's leading application definition software and services company, continues to reinforce its commitment to the needs of the Business Analyst (BA) community with the third Web seminar in its “BA as a Hero” online series. Titled: “Mastering Stakeholder Review and Approval,” this Web seminar will be held at 11:00 a.m. Pacific Daylight Time (PDT) on October 13, 2005.
During this 60-minute event, Aidoo Osei, business systems analyst at SunTrust Bank; Suellen Garr, manager of user experience design at Westfield insurance; and David Walker, product evangelist at iRise; will discuss the shift in enterprise focus from software implementation to design. Panelists will address software innovation as a strategic weapon for corporate growth as well as best practices in communicating and collaborating with key stakeholders for accurate software requirements.
“Enterprises face increasing pressure to create innovative software applications with less time and budget,” said Walker. “As a result, Business Analysts have become mission-critical designers on behalf of the organization. These BAs form the critical connection between business and IT, interpreting business needs across the enterprise, translating them into accurate requirements and delivering requirements in a manner that is enforceable and unambiguous. In this Web seminar, we will explore best practices for specifying complex business systems – and practical information for getting applications defined correctly the first time around.”
