iRise Announces Third Annual User Conference & Industry Summit Focused on High Performance Innovation
America's Cup Skipper Dennis Connor keynotes conference,
highlights use of simulation to drive competitive advantage
EL SEGUNDO, Calif. — Sept. 19, 2006 — iRise®, the world’s
leading application definition software company, today announced its third
annual User Conference and Industry Summit with “High Performance
Innovation” as the central theme. Taking place at Le Parker Meridien
in New York City from October 18-19, 2006, the conference will feature four-time
America's Cup champion skipper Dennis Connor, who will speak about staying
innovative, the importance of preparation, and game-changing innovations
including iterative simulations to create the fastest, most efficient and
winning organizations. The conference also features the company’s
largest-ever line-up of customer case studies; each of which includes live
demonstrations of interactive business application simulations.
The general session, which runs from Oct. 18-19, kicks off with Emmet B.
Keeffe III, chief executive officer and co-founder of iRise, who will introduce
an array of customer and partner announcements.
“Our vision is that in the next 10 years, every business application
will be simulated before it’s built – just like every airplane
and car is simulated today before production. Simulation perfects products,
cuts risk and speeds innovation to market,” said Mr. Keeffe. “The
conversation has shifted; it’s no longer about where or how to build
complex products, but what to build in the first place.”
The 2006 iRise Industry Summit and User Group Conference will also include:
- A keynote from KeyBank Executive Vice President Alan Buffington;
- Forrester Research analyst Carey Schwaber;
- Birds-of-a-feather tracks for BA and UX professionals led by BearingPoint
and Capgemini, respectively;
- A case study on using iRise for SAP by Deloitte Consulting;
- A presentation from Kathleen Barret, president of the International Institute
of Business Analysis (IIBA);
- Requirements gathering best practices presented by B2T Training; and,
- Product usage/tips and tricks by OneSpring.
Learn about success stories through customer point of view
Customers, including some co-presenting with systems integrator partners,
will share best practices and lessons learned through the use of simulation
to innovate in their own organizations. Each case study will include a preview
of iRise simulations created for actual projects. Customers will detail
how they have used iRise for application definition success. Speakers include
(partial list):
- Bank of America (NYSE: BAC)
- Wachovia (NYSE: WB)
- Digital Insight (NASDAQ: DGIN)
- Washington Mutual (NYSE: WM)
