iRise Promotes Business Analysts as Outsourcing Heroes
TATA Consultancy Services and Independent Research Firm Join in Web Seminar Discussion of Global Software Development Strategies
EL SEGUNDO, Calif. –— September 13 , 2005 — iRise®, the world's leading application definition software and services company, reinforced its commitment to the needs of the Business Analyst (BA) community with a free Web seminar on how this group can prepare for the current challenges and future trends of global outsourcing.
This iRise Web seminar, titled: “BA as a Hero, Part II: Managing Your Outsource Partners” will be held at 2:00 p.m. Eastern time on September 15, 2005. The event will be led by Stephanie Moore, a vice president in Forrester’s IT Services research group and an expert on offshore and nearshore outsourcing.
Moore will be joined by Rajib Bose, regional manager at TATA Consultancy Services and iRise Co-Founder and CEO Emmet B. Keeffe III.
“Few enterprises are prepared for the complexities associated with an offshoring endeavor,” said Keefe. “Too often, this can result in both financial losses and damage to the critical relationship between business and IT. iRise believes that Business Analysts are the essential link in any outsourcing project and in this Web seminar, we will explore best practices and application definition techniques for innovation on a global scale.”
This 60-minute interactive presentation will address common mistakes made in the outsourcing process, as well as methods for the evaluation of potential partners and effective communication techniques for critical projects. Speakers will also discuss the future of global development with a focus on visual simulation as a strategy to improve collaboration, cut costs, reduce risk and deliver projects on time.
