CompuCredit CIO to Present at CIO 100 Symposium
Technology Briefing Session focuses on "Visualize Success: The Case for Innovation"
EL SEGUNDO, Calif. — Aug. 14, 2006 — iRise®, the world’s leading application definition software company, today announced that that Guido F. Sacchi, chief information officer and senior vice president of corporate strategies for CompuCredit, will be a featured speaker at The Eighth Annual CIO 100 Symposium, which will be held August 20-22 at Hotel del Coronado in Coronado, Calif. Mr. Sacchi’s discussion, "Visualize Success: The Case for Innovation," is a Technology Briefing Session track to be held in the Garden Room from 10:55-11:25 a.m. Pacific on Monday, August 21, 2006. Using case studies and drawing from personal experience, Mr. Sacchi, 2006 CIO 100 award-winning recipient and Mitch Bishop, chief marketing officer for iRise, will share how to drive innovation as an effective strategy for growth.
This session speaks to the fundamental shift taking place in global corporations – a shift in focus from implementation to design. Business is under increasing pressure to leverage innovation as a competitive tool to achieve agility and growth. It’s becoming less important how or where to build things; it’s becoming more important to understand what to build in the first place. This change is affecting nearly every industry across the globe.
Topics of discussion include:
- The case for innovation - why it matters;
- How other industries have become design-driven;
- Common obstacles to change; o How to instill a culture of innovation;
- How simulation can drive innovation; and,
- Where are we headed? The future of design-driven organizations.
A question and answer period follows the presentation. For further details on how CompuCredit utilizes iRise, click here.
