iRise Named Best Enterprise Solution at the Spring IT ChannelVision Event
Awards voted on by over 250 resellers & solution providers in attendance
EL SEGUNDO, Calif. — May 15, 2006 — iRise®, the world’s leading application definition software company, today announced that it has been voted “Best Enterprise Solution” at the Spring 2006 IT ChannelVision™ Event held last week in Orlando, FL. iRise’s simulation software allows users to clearly and visually define business applications (e.g. a new e-commerce system, a wealth management CRM solution or a new customer service portal). Focused on defining the right application requirements before any code is written, iRise’s software allows businesses to bring higher quality and more innovative products and services to market faster while reducing the risk of project failure. iRise’s solution was selected by the over 250 resellers and solution providers in attendance.
The “Best of IT ChannelVision Awards” are the only industry awards voted on solely by North America’s premier system builders, value-added resellers (VARs), enterprise solution providers and digital home resellers. In addition to the vendor honors, a select group of channel executives were presented with “Vision” awards for outstanding leadership, industry service and ongoing contributions to the success of IT ChannelVision. These awards are voted on by the awards advisory committees.
"The IT ChannelVision awards program is one of the most significant indicators of the outstanding technology innovation and market initiatives happening throughout the vendor and reseller communities,” said Eric Lesonsky, senior program director, IT ChannelVision. “The vendor awards are directly determined by the decision-makers who represent the most dynamic market leaders in the North American IT channel. The Vision awards mark the special accomplishments of some of today’s top resellers and solution providers.”
Solution providers present included: BearingPoint, Booz Allen Hamilton, CSC, Capgemini, DiamondCluster, EDS, Entology, IBM Global Services and TCS amongst others. Companies cast their vote after vendor presentations and one-on-one meetings.
“For years now, we have successfully partnered with leading systems integrators to bring iRise to market for clients to test drive business-critical applications before building them,” said Sherrick Murdoff, vice president of business development and global alliances for iRise. “We believe this award validates our efforts to bring interactive simulation to business innovators and we want to thank our consulting partners for their fantastic support.”
iRise works with alliance partners to use, promote and co-market iRise products to F1000 clients through the iRise Alliance Advantage program. This program is designed to drive successful, cooperative business relationships with leading systems integrators, ISVs and other partners. This award builds on last year’s success at the Spring 2005 IT ChannelVision Event where iRise won the award for Best Enterprise Alliance Strategy.
