iRise Announces $20,000 Video Contest
Contest to Showcase Creativity and Innovation in Visualization
EL SEGUNDO, Calif. – April 9, 2008 – iRise®, the world’s leading visualization solutions company, today announced the "iRise Visualize the Prize" video contest, with a grand prize of $15,000. "Visualization gives companies a powerful way to "test drive" and fully experience applications before they are built, and the contest is an outlet for our customers and others to display their creativity and passion for the iRise visualization solution through a homemade video commercial," said Maurice Martin, iRise president and COO.
"This contest gives us a chance to recognize and reward innovation from our community in order to promote visualization," said Mitch Bishop, iRise chief marketing officer. "Every year support and recognition for our product grows. We thought this contest would be a fun way to reach out to the community, and engage with people that may have never heard of us."
The iRise "Visualize the Prize" contest is open to everyone, with the first place video receiving $15,000 and 2 semi-finalists receiving $2,500 each. Videos can be submitted to the Visualize the Prize contest site through June 4, 2008. Ten semi-finalists will be selected and the overall winner will be determined by popular vote from June 6 to June 20, 2008. The winner will be showcased on the iRise website and at Fusion ’08, the annual iRise customer conference and industry summit being held at the Bellagio in Las Vegas October 9-10, 2008.
Details and registration information for the Visualize the Prize contest are available at www.irisevideo.com. Submitted videos will also be available for viewing on the contest website. iRise plans to announce the winners at the end of June.
