BroadWare, iRise, Broadmargin, 1&1 Internet and Vector Networks Select Blanc & Otus as Public Relations Agency of Record in Search Shootouts

SAN FRANCISCO - February 24, 2004 - Blanc & Otus today announced that it has been named public relations agency of record by BroadWare Technologies, iRise, Broadmargin, 1&1 Internet and Vector Networks. B&O's strategic approach, the team members industry expertise, and the agency's unmatched track record for helping clients change the buying behavior in their markets were cited as primary factors in the selection.

B&O's security experts in Atlanta will take the lead for Cupertino, Ca.-based BroadWare, which provides a server-based platform to distribute live video surveillance data to multiple locations over IP-based networks. The technology is used in large-scale environments in the government, defense, and transportation industries as well as high-end commercial installations. BroadWare selected the Atlanta team based on its security market knowledge, contacts and results for information and physical security technology companies.
The Atlanta office is also newly working with Vector Networks, a provider of desktop management solutions that reduce the complexity and cost of managing PCs. The team in Atlanta is responsible for handling strategic positioning and media outreach.
iRise, based in El Segundo, Ca., selected a seasoned team of enterprise technology pros in B&O's San Francisco headquarters for its public relations support. iRise is a leading software and services company dedicated to bridging the communications gap between business and IT staffs within Fortune 1000 companies. The San Francisco office is also newly working with Broadmargin. Fairfax, Virginia-based Broadmargin provides Telecommunications Financial Management services to Fortune 1000 companies. Lastly, the Boston office is newly working with German-based 1&1 Internet, the largest web hosting company in the world. The Boston office is charged with launching 1&1 Internet into the U.S. market.
