With over 500,000 members and $2B in annual revenue, this insurance provider is the largest member of a national club network. As this customer adds an increasingly diverse set of insurance and service products to its portfolio, its ability to deliver systems that adequately serve its members’ rapidly changing needs becomes more complex.

Challenge
Tasked with quickly delivering an updated infrastructure to support a variety of online consumer-facing solutions, this customer's IT organization began the project using traditional, paper-based methods to elicit and document requirements but experienced frustrating communication issues both internally with business and externally with outsourced development resources, putting this critical project at significant risk. To get back on track, this customer had to reduce definition cycle time, improve requirements quality and reusability, align with business users’ needs and facilitate alignment with remote stakeholders.

Result
This insurance provider turned to iRise, and within a matter of days, business analysts (BAs) translated requirements into a visual, interactive simulation of the new system.
