Los Angeles-based ad2, an award-winning interactive agency, has been creating dynamic content since 1980 and is deeply involved in creative marketing strategies and brand building solutions for such clients as: Hilton, Pepsi, Toyota, Universal Studios and Bose. As a medium-sized interactive agency, ad2 has a proven track record for creating and implementing projects of all sizes – ranging from Internet-based Web sites, micro sites and ad campaigns to disc-based projects delivered on CD, DVD or even a hard drive.

Challenge
ad2 was challenged with finding a better way to communicate their creative vision to clients while improving client expectations and holding project scope in check. The agency's previous five-step process involved exploring ideas, proving the architecture and logic, design and implementation phases and, finally, code the proposed solution.

Result
With iRise simulation, design is injected at each phase, and ad2 has developed a more creative and efficient three-step process. ad2 now employs a more interactive way to communicate with clients that also ensures projects stay on time and on budget. Clients see and understand ad2's project vision earlier in the cycle, thereby reducing missteps, communication gaps and change orders. Demonstrating interactivity to stakeholders leads to realistic client expectations and a clearer roadmap for more efficient project management.

ad2 routes the iRise simulation to editors and content managers for input via an iDoc – an encapsulated version of the interactive simulation. Clients develop a deep understanding of the proposed workow and use cases by reviewing the iDoc, which can be distributed and shared throughout the organization.

ad2’s clients realize hard benefits from ad2's use of iRise. In the case of an ultra luxury publishing brand, ad2 simulated a functioning live site, which enabled content creators to come up to speed pre-launch.
