Emmet B. Keeffe III
Chief Executive Officer & Co-Founder
In the early 1990's Emmet set two goals - to start a software company that would achieve $1 billion in revenue and to start a Formula One team. In the late 1990's, Emmet and Maurice Martin co-founded iRise with a vision to transform how business and IT stakeholders would communicate about requirements for custom and packaged business software. In 2000, Emmet and Maurice invented the market for "Software Visualization" and have built iRise into the world's leading provider of enterprise visualization for business software. Over the last 20 years Emmet has applied his philosophy of "the network is the business" to become one of the most well-connected CEOs in the software industry. As CEO & Co-Founder of iRise, Emmet has leveraged his network to close over $60 million in investment funding and drives leadership of sales, marketing and business development at iRise. Prior to co-founding iRise, he built a top-selling region at NetDynamics, a pioneer of the Web application server market that was later acquired by Sun Microsystems.
Earlier in his sales career, Emmet earned over 15 national sales awards, including being named "National Top Performer" by NetDynamics, Auspex Systems, Diasonics and Minolta. In 2005, Emmet founded the "iRise Executive Roundtable Series" with a vision to deliver world-class content and networking with no selling which has been attended by hundreds of CIOs from the world's largest global companies. Since the program's inception, he has delivered roundtable partnerships to iRise with TRG Motorsports in the Grand Am Series, PKV Racing in the Champ Car Series, KV Racing Technology in the Indy Car Series and most recently with the Lotus F1 Team in Formula One. Emmet is a Strategic Partner at Lotus F1 Team and supports the sales organization in their efforts to bring new sponsors into Formula 1. In addition, Emmet is a Founding Board Member of the Corporate Coalition at Peace One Day, an organization focused on institutionalizing an international day of cease fire and non-violence on September 21st of each year. Outside of his role at iRise, Emmet is passionate about his family, driving Radical SR3 race cars, running, skiing, music, travel and entrepreneurship. Emmet earned a B.A. in Political Economies of Industrial Societies from the University of California at Berkeley and lives in London, England.
President, COO & Founder
Maurice drives iRise's business strategy and manages its day-to-day operations. He also owns the product portfolio vision, strategy and roadmap. He gained his business and technology acumen during tenures at Deloitte Consulting and Accenture, working with clients such as Capital Group, Kaiser Permanente and Southern California Gas Company prior to founding iRise in 1996. Maurice earned a B.S. in electrical engineering from the University of California at Santa Barbara.
EVP of Services
Jacques is responsible for all professional services at iRise. With more than twenty years experience in the software and services industry, his mission is to help iRise customer and partners adopt, use and generate value from iRise products and services across the enterprise. Prior to iRise, Jacques worked for Deloitte Consulting as a general management consultant, Accenture as a system integration consultant, and Hewlett Packard as an electrical engineer. He is recognized for his ability to analyze problems and develop solutions from business and technical perspectives. Jacques earned a B.S. in electrical engineering with an emphasis in computer engineering from the University of California at Santa Barbara and an MBA with a concentration in finance from The Anderson School at the University of California at Los Angeles.
EVP, Customer Success
Stephen joined Emmet and Maurice in 2000 to oversee the initial development and commercial release of iRise's software visualization platform and has served in many roles ranging from product development to professional services. Presently, Stephen is responsible for iRise's Customer Success Program, which has the charter of ensuring customers maximize the long term benefits of iRise's Enterprise Visualization Platform. In addition, Stephen oversees Customer Support, Legal Affairs and Sales Operations. Prior to joining iRise, Stephen had a ten year consulting career with Accenture and Deloitte, implementing securities trading, portfolio accounting, mortgage origination and similar systems for financial services clients including First Union, Bank of America, Washington Mutual, E*Trade and Montgomery Securities. Stephen holds a BA in Mechanical Engineering from University of Pennsylvania.
Chief Marketing Officer
As Chief Marketing Officer, Lou is responsible for the company’s overall branding, positioning, messaging and customer life cycle management. He brings more than 20 years of experience in corporate branding, product marketing and operations to the role. Prior to joining iRise, Lou served as Vice President of Corporate and Strategic Marketing for CCC Information Services Inc., a Chicago-based software and services provider to the $30 billion automotive claims and collision repair industries. In this role, Lou was responsible for all aspects of Marketing including branding, messaging, segmentation, market research, public relations and social media. Lou also was responsible for the company’s product roadmap, with oversight for go-to-market strategy development, execution, and pricing.
Previously, Lou co-founded and led a marketing and operations management firm, advising a broad range of private equity, VC and mid-cap clients on marketing strategy, business planning and operations. For a majority of the firm’s client engagements, Lou assumed operating responsibility, leading client organizations through periods of transition, growth or strategic transactions.
Lou started his career in the communications industry with MCI, then Ameritech/SBC, where he grew to serve as Vice President of Global Marketing, after completing assignments in roles ranging from business planning and analysis, strategic planning and implementation, and business operations.
Lou earned a BS in Marketing from DePaul, and an MBA from Loyola University of Chicago.
VP of Finance
Lionel is charged with scaling the finance and accounting team to support revenue and profit targets. His background as a finance professional spans international, domestic, public and private industry experience. Previously, Lionel was a senior consultant at DLC, Inc., an M&A, FP&A and accounting consulting firm serving Fortune® 1000 companies, where he provided consulting services on financial planning, system integration and mergers and acquisition. Prior to DLC Lionel was with Conexant Systems, a global high-tech company, as controller of the business support organizations. Before Conexant, he held the role of CFO for Kittrich Corporation, a mid-sized house wares manufacturing company with responsibilities over all financial, accounting, treasury and legal activities. Lionel earned a B.A. in Economics from University of Redlands and an M.B.A. in Finance from Pepperdine University.
